Happy New Year!
It is the start of another year! It is a great time to refocus and start fresh. I love this time of year because of that. I feel renewed strength and focus and look forward to working toward new goals.
Saying hello to a new year also means saying goodbye to an old one. 2014 was a good year. There was some great things about 2014. I started to look toward new projects and worked toward writing more. I managed to take a one day seminar/workshop to better my writing and skills in the publishing industry. It was a big step for me. I often think about taking classes or workshops and then talk myself out of it. Not this time. I enjoyed the day and have already signed up for two more for 2015. There was some stuff that I already knew but some that I didn’t but most importantly it helped me get in the right frame of mind to take bigger steps to my ultimate writing goals. I ultimately want to write books, mostly young adult/new adult fiction. I might even toss in a self help or e-book in there too!
So I have decided with the new year I need to take action. I am promising myself this will be a year of action. I am going to take action to improve my life …. mind, body and soul. I am going to take action to live the life I want to live. I am going to take action in my career and do the work that makes me happy and makes my life better. I will take action in my writing and finish the books that I have swirling around in my mind. I promise to take action to finish the books that I already have in progress. I am promising myself to take action to improve my health and that means exercising more and eating better. I am also promising to take action to make life for others better by being kinder, more generous and understanding.
Every week I will post at least once about the action I have taken to make my life better. Post will help to keep me accountable but also help encourage me to keep taking action. I hope that posting might also inspire others to make this year a year of action.
So here is to a year of ACTION!
