A Sweet Site For All Things Happy

I recently chatted with a good friend of my, Irena Hrzina, about getting out in the garden with kids. The weather is getting nicer and the sun feels like is it is shinning brighter and with the warmer weather I start getting itching to get gardening. While at this stage it is mostly clean up from the winter, I start dreaming about warm days planting beautiful plants and flowers.
It’s my Birthday and Easter all in one today. I am having a great day with family and friends. There have been a few easter egg hunts
I am so happy. One of our families favourite books is being made into a movie. Maurice Sendak’s sweet book Where The Wild Things Are will be in theatres this fall.
I just saw the recently released movie trailer. It makes me smile! It warms my heart. I have read the book countless times to my two girls. I have a certain fondness for anything Maurice Sendak touches.

I check out Etsy often, you should too, there are lots of really neat handcrafted things there. Today I came across a few eco toys thanks to a heads up from Etsy.
These cute creations are made by kittybabylove . They are the cutest crayons. They are individually custom-molded from nontoxic wax crayons. Their faces are then lovingly hand-carved into their egg shaped bodies, one egg at a time.
